Best Spring Parties

Spring is here, and although the weather has been fickle in these beginning stages of spring, warmer weather is well on its way. This means parties that incorporate the bright themes of spring can be added to make your event stand out above the rest. Look into these spring styles to determine what you can include to make your spring party stand out above the rest.

The Invites

When it comes time for you to plan a party, one of the most important questions that need to be asked is how many people will attend. Depending on this number, it may completely change the location of your event or how many people can attend. Plan out beforehand how many guests you will be inviting, and change your plans accordingly. Be aware of the schedules of others and try to pick a date that will work for everyone. Each party is going to have different invitations that need to be sent out:

  • Birthday parties – these invitations should be sent out two or three weeks in advance depending on how formal the event is and whether or not you want people to RSVP.
  • Graduations – these invitations should be sent six weeks before the graduation ceremony.
  • Weddings – spring is one of the most popular times for a wedding. If you have guests traveling from far away, send out an invite well in advance, somewhere between six months and a year. Send out an official invitation six weeks before the wedding.

In addition to planning out the invites, design it in such a way to signify spring, or some other significant thing that will be included. Flowers, the sun, and blooming trees are just a few things that can be incorporated.

The Décor

The décor that you choose to use in your spring party will be what sets it apart. In most cases, the simple options will serve you the best. The most important things to consider are:

  • Bright colors are common for spring including yellow, pink, green, and soft oranges. Try to choose a lighter color and one that is bolder to stand out. The contrast will help you to make the most of your spring décor.
  • Incorporate the colors, decorations, and food into one overlapping theme. Whether this thing is all encompassing of spring, or something more specific, work to create that atmosphere for your guests.
  • If you are going to be hosting your party outside in the evening, make sure you have the right lighting to brighten your event whatever that might be.
  • Centerpieces are important for any party. You can choose from a number of spring themes from candles to fresh fruit placed in beautiful yet edible arrangements.
  • Choose the foods that commonly come with spring. Bring out the barbeque cooking, salads, and a number of other foods that signify the coming good weather.
